In relation also with the updated IMO Resolution MSC.581(110), it is important to note that revised recommendations have been adopted for the enclosed space entry (effective late 2025/2026), mandating testing for carbon dioxide (CO2) alongside oxygen and toxic gases.
Concentration must be below 0.5% by volume (5,000 ppm) before entry, recognizing it as a lethal asphyxiant in cargo spaces.

It operates continuously for up to 2 years without the need for battery or sensor replacement (disposable after use).
