Swiss marine power company WinGD has launched Global Service by WinGD, expanding original parts supply, in-service support and technical advisory it currently delivers during the engine warranty period across the entire vessel lifecycle. The service supports ship operators by maximizing the profit-making potential of their engines and vessels, maintaining optimal efficiency and ensuring compliance throughout the lifetime of their assets.
Technava, WinGD’s partner for Greece and Cyprus, has been part of this initiative since its launch in June 2025. A continuously growing dedicated field service after-sales division of eleven (currently) in-house experts provides OEM original spare parts, field service, technical support and specialized training, delivering responsive local support aligned with WinGD’s global service network.
A Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) between TMS Cardiff Gas and WinGD Global Service has been signed, for the propulsion systems of four TMS Cardiff Gas managed vessels. Through this partnership, the aim has been to enhance vessel efficiency, reduce emissions, secure uninterrupted operations and support the fleet’s ongoing decarbonization journey.

Thordon’s T-BOSS (Thordon-Blue Ocean Stern Space) revolutionizes shaft line design by replacing traditional oil-lubricated systems with a sterntubeless, seawater-lubricated setup. Using Thordon COMPAC bearings, it eliminates oil pollution, reduces fuel and maintenance costs, and allows in-water inspection and servicing without shaft withdrawal — redefining efficiency and sustainability in propulsion systems.
