Propulsion Analytics enables first worldwide combined ABS SMART (MHM) and PMP CBM notations in a GasLog vessel

We are pleased to share an important development in the field of digital engine performance monitoring and Engine Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).
Our Principals, Messrs. Propulsion Analytics, in collaboration with GasLog and ABS, have successfully developed and implemented a data-driven Engine Condition-Based Maintenance system.
As a result, a GasLog LNG carrier has become the first commercial vessel worldwide to receive the combined ABS SMART (MHM) and PMP CBM notations, demonstrating that Class-approved Condition-Based Maintenance is now a practical and proven solution rather than a future concept.
The main objective is to move engine maintenance from conventional running-hour-based intervals to a purely condition-based approach, supported by actual engine performance data and advanced analysis.
